Rava Ladoo by Jen
(like Aunty Rane's)


Semolina (Rava) 1 cup
Desiccated Coconut ½ cup
Powdered Sugar 1 cup
Ghee 4 tsp
Raisins (seedless) 2 tbsp
Cardamom Powder ½ tsp
Milk ¼ cup

Fry the semolina in ghee till it changes colour. Then add the desiccated
coconut and cardamom powder, mix thoroughly and fry for half a minute and then switch off the gas and cover and keep for 5 minutes.

Add powdered sugar and raisins and mix well. Then sprinkle the milk over it, mix and form round balls.

Cooking time 20/25 mins.

Hey i was just talking with sooch about the lovely poha we used to have at her place makes my mouth water ... next time i have to make a visit to thier place ..yes the diwali ladoos i can only dream they used to melt in the mouth
